Jane asks…
Is there a website that helps you to play songs on an electric guitar without tabs?
My friend was telling me about her friend going to this one website that showed her how to play songs without using the tabs with the like numbers and stuff but she doesn’t remember what it was called.
Anyways, is there a website that will show you how to play the song in the simplest way possible from artists like Flyleaf, Alesana and a lot of others like them without using tabs?

Joseph asks…
How can I play guitar without notes or tabs? Please read!?
So I have been struggling FOREVER, and no matter what I do, I can not for the LIFE of me understand tabs or notes. My dream, however, is to become a famous musician. I can sing and write lyrics, but I want to bring my songs to life with my guitar, but my inability to read sheet music makes me feel like I should stop pursuing this dream. Is there a way I can play guitar without sheet music, and if so, how? Please help me! Thank you, & much love.

You could play by ear, but that’ll be quite problematic if you ever want to join a band or have your music professionally recorded. How is anyone going to be able to accompany you if they don’t have a structured idea of how you want your songs to sound?
You should invest in finding a seasoned teacher. Sheet music is way confusing if you try to jump in by yourself, but a pro guitarist will know how to get your feet wet before throwing you in the pool.

How can I learn to play a song on the bass guitar without using tabs?
I want to know if there’s any site that has notations of songs or anything like that, but not tabs. I also don’t want to hear an answer saying why not use tabs.
admin answers:
Yes, and it’s called using your ear to figure out the notes. It’s a bit difficult at first, but it becomes easier with practice.

How can I learn to play songs on the guitar without the tab or notes?
I can play guitar well, I’ve just never had a good ear of listening to the chords in songs and figuring them out. I’d love to to that, but I have no idea what to do or where to start. Any tips?
